PIPE BASE AND POSTS

The standard fence has an oversize 4 1/8 treated post. We also offer Pipe Base posts as an option to ensure a very long life of your fence. We offer a 10 year guarantee on fences with pipe base and posts, and we've never had to replace one due to rot after 40 years in business.
Pipe base and posts are available in treated or non-treated cedar. You may want to consider this option if your property is located in an extremely wet area or plan on staying in the house for an extended period of time.
For those of you that prefer cedar posts without treatment, they can be mounted into walls. If someone pours a retaining wall, we offer Pipe Base Posts mounted into walls. If you have a sidewalk, we can weld plates to the posts and bolt the fence to it.
Standard posts are 3 1/2"x 3 1/2"
Town and Country Fence's posts are 4 1/8" x 4 1/8"
We use 9 foot posts (one foot longer than what is traditionally offered), which provides a deeper set and therefore more fence strength and stability. We set our posts with concrete to add additional strength.
